What we collect

Your email address, optional name, password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text), the audio recordings you upload, and the analysis data derived from them (beat grids, captures). Standard web server logs (IP, user agent) are kept briefly for security.

Payments

Card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers. We store your Stripe customer reference and subscription status.

What we do with it

Provide the service to you. That's it — no advertising, no selling data, no third-party analytics. Emails we send are transactional (receipts, password resets, service notices).

Where it lives

Data is stored on our servers and encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Audio files are private to your account.

Deletion

Deleting a recording removes its audio and analysis. To delete your whole account and everything in it, email support@pianotranscribe.com from the account address; we complete deletion within 30 days.

Your rights

You can request a copy or deletion of your data at any time via support@pianotranscribe.com. For users in Brazil this policy is intended to satisfy the LGPD; in the EU, the GDPR.
